Santos Zingale

Santos Zingale (April 17 1908 - October 4 1999) was a Wisconsin native who remained in the state for the major part of his career. As a young artist he worked on murals and easel paintings for the WPA Art Projects. He received his undergraduate degree from Milwaukee State Teachers College, now the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and his graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin.
