Thomas Hoffman

Tom Hoffman, born 1956, began studying painting at the Wustum Museum of Fine Art in Racine, Wisconsin in 1970.

He received a Bachelor of Fine Art's Degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Milwaukee, WI, in 1979. Temporarily leaving painting he studied acting at the California Institute of the Arts from 1980-1982. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre in 1982 and acted in professional stage productions for the next 7 years.

He returned to art in 1989 and received a Master of Fine Arts in Painting in 1996 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

He works in his studio in Milwaukee.
